Other research interests include the use of telehealth in the Early Intervention setting.
Jessica is passionate about advocacy, inclusion, accessibility, and providing high-quality care to her clients and families. After learning more from families about difficulties with access and inclusion, she completed her Executive Certificate in Home Modification in order to further address accessibility and inclusion in the home and community environments. She is active in advocacy related to improving the quality of services in the Early Intervention program and families' experiences in the program. Jessica enjoys collaborating with families on issues and feels strongly that families should have a voice in the care their children are receiving. Her goal is to empower families to advocate for themselves and their children.
