Amy Bahr, M.S., CCC-SLP is a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Specialist at M Street Pediatric Therapy.
Prior to M Street, Amy was an assistant clinician in a DIR/Floortime-based therapeutic preschool program. Amy participated in projects with the Early Intervention Research Group at Northwestern.
Amy began her career as a Program Coordinator designing and teaching performing-arts-based curriculum at K-12 public schools. There, she developed a passion for adapting curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities. She followed that passion to go on to work as an assistant clinician at a therapeutic preschool program based in DIR/Floortime Therapy before ultimately completing her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology.
Amy believes in following a child’s lead and tries to infuse every treatment session with playfulness and creativity. She loves that the home setting allows for close collaboration with caregivers and strives to honor every child and family’s unique strengths.
